Your words.
Your chosen amount.
One headline on a daily public board. Choose a whole-dollar amount, then add more only if you want to raise its ranking total.
Whole US dollars only. One text entry of up to 300 Unicode characters. Up to three new headlines per user per Eastern day.
Choose a whole-dollar increase. A paid raise charges only that additional amount and does not use a new headline slot.
The time you receive
Publication begins after successful payment confirmation and delivery. It lasts for the remainder of that day’s board, ending at midnight America/New_York. This cutoff follows daylight-saving time; it is not a fixed UTC hour or a 24-hour period from your purchase.
For example, publication at 11:50 p.m. Eastern time provides about ten minutes on that board. Check the remaining time before continuing. New checkouts pause for the final two minutes of the Eastern day. Payment processing may take time; an order that cannot be delivered before its board closes is handled under the refund policy.
How amounts affect rank
The board shows ten headlines per page, ordered by cumulative amount from highest to lowest. For equal totals, the headline that reached the total earlier ranks first. A $3 headline raised by $2 has a $5 ranking total; you pay only $2 for that raise. Your chosen amount counts in full toward ranking, including any tax within it.
Higher-ranked entries appear earlier, but someone else can choose a higher amount at any time. A purchase does not guarantee first place, a particular page, audience size, views, clicks, reactions or sales. Display counts are service measurements, not a guarantee that a person read your words.
Your chosen amount is the final USD checkout total: choose $1, pay $1. Applicable tax is included, with no tax added on top. Dodo calculates and handles any tax within that total. Each paid publication or raise is a separate one-time purchase. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, cash prize, wallet balance or cash-out feature.
After midnight
The day’s results close and the new board begins. Historical text and records can remain in the archive and profile, subject to author hiding, removal requests and community rules. Archive and profile visits do not add paid-board display counts. Archive availability is a service feature, not a promise of permanent storage.
Each final top-ten headline receives a free Encore seat for the next Eastern day. Encore is a separate display area; its seat has no cash value and does not continue your paid-board rank.
Delivery and support
The server verifies payment before publishing or raising. My payments shows saved orders, delivery and refund status. A duplicate successful payment does not raise the same order twice. Cancelling an unpaid, unfulfilled order is available there; closing checkout alone does not confirm cancellation.
Being outranked, receiving few views or changing your mind after delivery does not by itself qualify for a refund. Failed delivery, duplicate charges and late confirmations have specific remedies. Read the full refund policy and terms, or contact support.
